Where do our runners come from?

The runners from our collection mainly come from the Anatolian part of Turkey and are handmade. Thanks to this method of manufacture, the tokens last for generations. Our vintage runners undergo the same treatment as most of our rugs. The used runners are first shaved: about 80% of the wool is removed. Dust and stains are often on the surface and shaving removes these impurities. The runners are then thoroughly washed, dried and, if necessary, professionally repaired. Then we select the most beautiful specimens. Before the tokens reach our customers, we once again subject them to a thorough quality check. You will only find authentic tokens of which we have been able to trace the origin.
